I'm sure you will figure out a wonderful way to display them. Could they be mounted on a sculptural "something" that could turn to make each one visible? I love each one and the story only makes them more interesting.Janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01615007932636751108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354055207141253864.post-38704933164469601232010-09-20T19:54:53.283-04:002010-09-20T19:54:53.283-04:00Ahhhh, your ideas are so creative! I'd like to include the triangles (of course), some quilting and the stories, but I'm trying not to limit myself. That's the problem with my ideas, they seem to change with the wind! The spark has started to glow, now all I need to do is blow on it a little and light a fire under my butt! LOL!

I'm dreaming about rich fabrics, heavy stitching and unusual settings. But I'll need to be careful, because I want the triangles to shine. Simple but elegant would probably be best, but again there's a lot to be said for ornate and over-the top!

Thanks so much for your comments and for providing some much needed sparks. I doubt that I'll be able to start in the near future, but I will be jotting down all of your fabulous ideas.Anne Marie - Torontohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15841030304464450073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354055207141253864.post-18325924163996631852010-09-20T12:51:15.753-04:002010-09-20T12:51:15.753-04:00Since you are asking for opinions (and I never hes...Since you are asking for opinions (and I never hesitate to actually have one...lol) - how about mounting each one individually (perhaps surrounded by black velvet) and displaying them along with the stories you've told us here. I think the actual meanings should be alongside the pieces so that people understand why they were created. Just my two cents worth (and with the current 'value' of a penny, you know how valuable my opinion is!!)Magpie's Mumblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852241848575954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354055207141253864.post-49154848963883073442010-09-20T06:37:53.346-04:002010-09-20T06:37:53.346-04:00Marvelous Anne Marie! Here's one suggestion, how about including a few heavily machine embroidered and textured triangles in rich fabrics. Then I'd use a canvas backing for strength and stability.Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17485161703544269136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354055207141253864.post-28576138172615734632010-09-19T01:41:01.196-04:002010-09-19T01:41:01.196-04:00Your work as always is an inspiration...k.Your work as always is an inspiration...k.kaiteMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16299002622308267375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7354055207141253864.post-23686535753429465642010-09-18T23:38:24.227-04:002010-09-18T23:38:24.227-04:00Absolutely positively freak'in MARVELOUS...wha...Absolutely positively freak'in MARVELOUS...what a group of jewels!!! Thank you so much for posting the second installment. I wish I could be of some help re: the mounting and/or presentation but to be honest, that is always my hiccup - I have an extremely difficult time deciding how to display. They would sure look gorgeous all together!beadbabe49https://www.blogger.com/profile/08270938730730250964noreply@blogger.com
