all smashed up

This is what happens when dyed cotton meets the embellisher. It blends nicely and has a lovely, drapey, felt like quality. A tactile delight!

The challenge didn't call for it, but I worked in some of my dyed cheesecloth to add movement to the piece. The saga will continue when the stitching is added..............

Thanks everyone for your comments! I really do need to buy my own embellisher. The next stage is a free motion machine whipstitch. With a little luck, I'll get moving on that in the next few days. The only problem is that I've taken out the dyes again AND I need to start on my June (yes, I said June and it's August) BJP. Perhaps in-between the other projects. Sigh!

Hi Anne Marie! I'm writing a comment here 'cos I don't seem to be able to write replys to people's comments on my blog! Still learning! Embellishers are a must have! Love your results!
