what's blooming in toronto?

Peonies in Marilyn and Raine's garden. I confess that I can't resist the white ones so the "taken" is also literal, as I need to confess to pilfering three of these beauties......the smell is absolutely divine!!!

More flowers to come tomorrow..............

Beautiful, beautiful peonies, they are so voluptuous, like ballerinas in full tutus.

Peonies make me so nostalgic. I had lovely bushes of them in my house in NY and did divisions in the fall and gave a bunch to a friend. I've never lived anywhere since where they will grow. sniff. I don't blame you pilfering several....

Thanks for commenting you two!! Ballerinas, indeed!! I love peonies, except when it rains hard and they get their pretty skirts muddied by the dirt. It never fails, but they've been pretty good this year. The pilfering continues......
