Rain, rain go away.......wait a minute, it's January 1st, 2011. Let's keep the rain and the mild weather and wish away the cold and snow to come. This brings back memories of Vancouver, B.C. in the winter. It's not really normal for Toronto.
My word for the year is going to be FOCUS! Will there be more focus in my life, or just a renewed interest in photography? Only time will tell!!

Beautiful pictures -- I have focus issues too sometimes -- there are so many things to choose from.

'Focus' - isn't that just the most difficult thing to do - because our eyes wander here and our hands get busy there. So many ideas, skills to hone and stitches to make.
i just love the balcony railing effect, throw some vinegar soaked cloth on it. Focus - hmmm, i'll keep reminding you. Have a great optimistic and focussed year 2011.
That warmth won't last long! It's Canada in January...everything is topsy turvy. I'm so out of focus I can't think of a word for the year or am afraid to commit to one!
Of course, I didn't say what I was going to "focus" on!!!!! 2011 will definitely be forward thinking.
Penny, as for January in Canada, I know, believe me, I know.....I'm looking out the window and seeing fine flakes of the white stuff fly as we speak.
I like Picasa too. Free makes it especially enticing. I like your textured paint job. Focus is a word I could focus on too. Happy New Year.
I'm not going to have a word for this year - I'd probably forget what it was anyway! I'm just going to hope that I make steps towards finding my own 'voice' creatively. Happy 2011 to you!!
